Sorry my blog has been so dry as of late. This is what I’ve been up to.

Anonymous asked: Get the extractor! I swear that shit works. It's kind of addicting though...

I have never heard of a blemish extractor before and so, out of curiosity, I went onto YouTube…

Terrible idea. I’m glad such a thing exists and I might go purchase one someday but… that video… oh god it was disgusting. Haha. Much to my dismay, I cannot use the extractor on my bug bite since the “infection” is below the skin.

Also, just found out that it’s Truthful Tuesday

I'll be up all night in the darkroom, making prints. Let's bond. →

So I have all of these followers and while I know some of you very well, I hardly know the rest of you at all which is pretty awful. Talk to me or something, yeah? →

Update:

Hey everyone, happy new year! I could go on and do the sap talk about resolutions and changes and the like but really all I want to say (in this one sentence) is that I’m happy to have made it this far because there were many moments when I thought the world (and thus, my life) would end.
Thank you all for sticking around. This past year was the hardest and I only hope that 2012 is much nicer. Shit, we all know that everyone in this (sometimes god-forsaken) world needs it. My heart goes out to those who passed away in the wave of natural and political turmoils and I applaud everyone else who woke up in the morning, determined still. The world is massive, people are generally anywhere from five to seven feet tall, and outer space (according to current data) is endless. It’s easy to feel useless and I, Princess of Emotions, know how hard it is to walk out of the front door. But you all do it. Somehow. Congrats. You haven’t died yet and my only wish for 2012 is for it stay that way.
And of course, this post isn’t Tumblr specific. Shout out to all the homies in all the countries.

Wow, I hope you’re okay. Occupy Philadelphia was evicted last night, too. (I wasn’t arrested, but that’s some scary shit.)

I am doing much better! Save for the bruised wrists and emotional storm (okay, being in a state of incessant anger for longer than twenty-four hours is most definitely an unforgettable lesson in self-restraint), I am more than grateful to not be in a jail cell right now.

Considering the reasons for our arrest (“Unlawful assembly”/”Failure to disperse”), the occupiers who are in jail at the moment have faced ridiculous amounts of abuse in both physical and verbal form. By physical I mean: the inattention to basic needs such as food, water, and restroom use; overly tight cuffing (which led to many swollen hands), shoving and kicking, and prolonged exposure to cold temperatures without proper attire. Lets not forget the auditory overload during transport (listening to christmas jingles at full volume while in a prisoner commuter bus is a very surreal experience, to say the least).

There’s so much more that happened and what is so infuriating (the anger! forever! aaaaaa!) is that this treatment is not only standard but the bare minimum of what can actually happen to prisoners. I’m glad that you weren’t arrested and I hope that all other occupiers out there are in better conditions or at least moving towards it.

I’m proud of you!

You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you a million times over. :)

Thursday night I need to get this girl a drink.

Rafael! I walked into this cafe and they have wine on the menu. I stood there for a good five minutes debating whether I should just go for it. I even asked the cashier for advice.

Drink the pain away.
